Stephanie Lori Edwards

Stephanie L. Edwards, 54, went to be with her Lord on August 20, 2018 after a courageous battle with Crohn's Disease. She was preceded in death by aunt Linda Waddell Owens, whom "Stephanie Bear" loved dearly.

She was born in Rome, GA, July 18, 1964 to her parents Pat Glenn and Glenda Waddell Martin. She had an infectious laugh that would make your heart smile with the best sense of humor. She was a caregiver by nature who put others first, an avid reader, a lover of thunderstorms, nature and animals.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband Billy, daughters, Crystal & Chelsea; grandchildren Levi, Ivy and Elly; a sister Kathy and husband Brian and niece Katie; uncle Robert Owens, aunt Carol, uncle Jim and aunt Val; father-in-law James Edwards; brother-in-law John and wife Miyuki and children; many beloved cousins, life-long family friends, and Mrs. Bert.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25, from 10 to 11am at Smith & Williams Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life will follow at 11a.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crohn’s & Colitis Disease or a charity of choice.
