Sonja Siedenburg Rump

Mrs. Rump was born in Hamburg, Germany on March 3, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Rump and granddaughter, Kelly M. Richendollar.

Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia M. Richendollar and husband, K. Doug Richendollar; granddaughter, Karen M. Richendollar and husband, Michael J. Richards.

A celebration of Mrs. Rump’s life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2:00p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home by Chaplain Elaine Lehr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. A reception will be following at the Richendollar’s residence.

The family would like to thank Home Instead and Sentara Leigh Hospital for the last seven years of intermittent care. Special thanks goes to Nilda “Joni” Schwartzwarder who provided compassionate care with a great sense of humor. Joni ensured that Mrs. Rump was able to spend her final days in her home as she strongly desired.
