Bill (who was in the US Navy) and Cleo Morris are considered family and remained close to Weedie and Sharon until their passing, and remain close to the surviving family. Brad, Sharon’s and Weedie’s next door neighbor, was a great help to both. Sharon had many friends, some of her closet friends were Debbie, Betty, Phyllis and Cathy Jo. Sharon met many friends through her battle with cancer.
Sharon was a compassionate, loving, and kind mother and she never meet a stranger. Sharon enjoyed traveling and visited many places from Georgia to Hawaii, and parts of Europe and France. Some of Sharon’s favorite times were gathering which were shared with family and friends. The events included Holidays at her house, birthday parties, family reunions, eating lunch with her friends, picnics at the Jordan Bridge, weekends at Grandy, and just spending time with family and friends.
