Scott Marshall McCoy

A Norfolk native, Scott resided in Virginia Beach all of his life. He was an avid Redskin’s Fan and was carpenter by trade. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Donald and Jenny Scott and paternal grandfather Herman McCoy.

He was happy go lucky as a child and a friend to many, usually the center of attention at most events. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace Scotty, your home now where you can truly be free and happy.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Corynn McCoy; his parents Joseph and Yvonne McCoy; grandmother, Elva McCoy; a sister Lisa Hickey and husband Tom, a brother Joseph M. McCoy, Jr. and wife Pinky; four nephews, Joshua and Jacob Hickey, Trey, and Patrick McCoy and a niece, Piper McCoy; two uncles Mark and Shane McCoy and two cousins Stephanie Cloutier and Tracie McCoy.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 11a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
