Known as Sandy by friends. Sandy was a Marketing Manager for Reliance Staffing, retiring after 26 years of dedicated service. Sandy found insurmountable joy spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed family, traveling, music, shopping, people watching and gossip. Sandy was also a dog lover, especially Golden Retrievers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Lori Davis (Jeff) and Jason Lukes (Lorry); grandchildren, Dylan Lukes, Tanner Lukes, Hayden Lukes, and Alanah Davis; her Partner in Crime, Nick Clark; brothers, Francis (Alice) Hershley of Virginia, Alan (Peggy) Hershley of Wyoming, Gary (Pat) Hershley of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, her brother John Hershley, and her Sister in Law, Betty Ann Hershley, the Sissy she never had.
The family will receive friends from 9-10:00 am, on January 30, 2023 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, located at 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA., 23462. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
