She is survived by two sons, Michael Bradshaw of Gibsonville, NC, and Keith Bradshaw of Burlington, NC, a son-in-law Christopher Allman-Bradshaw, also of Gibsonville, NC, her beloved dog Cassie, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her second husband Martin Cartwright, her son Timothy Bradshaw, and her parents, Ruth Walsh and Lloyd Creekmore. Her marriage to Bill Bradshaw ended in divorce.
Born September 28, 1940, Sandy was a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach and graduated from Granby High School. She enjoyed making quilts, reading, collecting ornamental butterflies and spending time each week with friends at a local Virginia Beach Hardee’s.
A memorial service will be held at Smith and Williams Funeral Home on Princess Anne Road on Saturday, March 4 at 2pm. A private burial will follow on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Rosewood Memorial Park.
