Ruth E. Lawrence, 91, passed away on June 7, 2015. She is predeceased by her husband, George W. Lawrence; and her son, Carl E. Lawrence and his wife, Mary.
She is survived by two sons, G. W. Lawrence and wife, Carol of Suffolk and James E. Lawrence of Poplar Branch, NC; two daughters, Mary E. Lynch of Shiloh, NC and Joanna C. Parrish of Virginia Beach; a sister, Bernice Paul of Grantsboro, NC; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Rosewood Memorial Park by Pastor Ben Scofield. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Thursday at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
