Richard “Richie” Andrew Brown, 78, passed away on November 13, 2022. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Elwood and Etta Mae Brown. Richie was a budget analyst for the federal government for 35 years, and worked as a courier for the law firm Willcox and Savage for 10 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed square dancing with the Tidewater Twirlers. He also enjoyed bowling, camping, and traveling all over the U.S and many European countries.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Donna Rae Lee Brown; brother-in-law, Dick Snyder; and a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Brown Snyder.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 7-8:30 PM at Heritage UMC. A memorial service will be held at the church on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
