Paul was raised in Massachusetts and retired from Naval Air Station, Norfolk where he worked as an airplane mechanic. He served four years in the U.S. Navy which brought him to this area. He was a loyal member of the Aragona Moose Lodge, #1198 for twenty-seven years.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his children, Paula Gardner Thompson and husband, Tommy; Jeff Gardner and wife, Margaret; Carol Hilliard and husband, John; David McIntosh and wife, Teresa; Robert McIntosh and wife, Claudia; Jane Grim; Scott McIntosh and wife, Diane; and John Gardner; twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren and his ex-wife, Dorothy Gardner.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at Aragona Moose Lodge #1198, 3133 Shipps Corner Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
