Pattie Byrum Peele

Mrs. Pattie Byrum Peele, 102, widow of L. R. Peele, died June 26, 2014 in Venice, FL. She was born in Chowan County, NC, and resided most of her adult life in Norfolk, VA. In her later years she lived in Richmond, VA and Venice, FL.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jean Windley Pollock. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Peele Mitchell; sons-in-law, Allan Mitchell and Robert Pollock; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

From her childhood on, she served her Lord and Savior and was an active member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, Edenton, NC, Talbot Park Baptist Church and Norview Baptist Church, Norfolk, VA, Cambridge Baptist Church, Richmond, VA, and South Venice Baptist Church, Venice, FL.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m., July 3, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, VA with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
