Pamela was born January 23, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia. She worked as a 5th grade teacher for Portsmouth & Virginia Beach Public Schools and retired in 2017.
Pamela is predeceased by her parents, William Hassell & Evelyn Leesnitzer; her spouse, John William Gaut II; aunt, Edith L. Harper; and uncle, Earl Harper.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Alyson Gaut; step-daughter, Catherine Tippett; son-in-law, Jeff Tippett; and two grandchildren, Nathan & Elizabeth Tippett.
A a celebration of life for Pamela will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
