Mildred E. Callahan, 91, passed away on April 16, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1921. Having formerly resided in Rhode Island, Mili and Cal moved to Virginia Beach in 1985 to retire and be close to their family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Charles L. Callahan, Jr., and G. Richard Brown; son, Charles “Larry” Callahan, III and his wife Cheryl; and sister Helen Woodside.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted daughter, Stephanie “Stevey”Callahan; sister, Lillian Nelson; grandchildren, Christopher K. Dinsmore (Michele), Mark C. Dinsmore (Michele), Carrie C. Fitzgerald (Tim), Elizabeth D. Lopes (Barry); Susan Solis; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Millie, Audrey, Max, Bash, JT, Kaleigh, Connor, Roberto and Paige and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Warwick, RI.
