After a valiant battle with cancer, Michael Carl Noah, 66, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2016 aided by hospice and surrounded by his loving family. He joins his wife, Lois Faye Noah, who passed away in November of 2002.
Michael was born in Norfolk, VA and his successful career in arena and convention center management included facilities in Manila, Ocean City, MD, Indianapolis, IN, Uniondale, NY, and Lafayette and New Orleans, LA. He was a member of Northport Baptist Church in East Northport, NY and attended Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Williamsburg, VA. He was a friend to many, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Susan Rose Noah, his sons, Sean Carl Noah and his wife, Laura, Jason Michael Noah and his wife, Audra, and their son, Lincoln Harlow Noah, and Daniel Andrew Noah and his wife, Sabrina; his brother, Jerry Noble Noah and his wife, Cynthia; and his nephew, Michael William Noah, and several other family members.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the cancer treatment work of Dr. Ross Donehower at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, PO Box 17029, Baltimore, MD 21297-1029.
