I'm sorry Kim, my condolences go out to you and your family

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mike Cholko.  He was a dear friend mine and will be sorely missed.  He performed his job with passion and was a great asset to DEQ.  I will miss discussing current events, laughing through our sometimes varying opinions on subjects and learning from Mike's wealth of knowledge and lifetime experiences.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Mike was so helpful and kind to me while I learned my new role at DEQ.  I am so sorry for your loss and know that he will be dearly missed by all at DEQ.  May Gods love comfort you during this difficult time.  Kathy Steers

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my longtime friend.  We shared many good times in high school and college and for a time thereafter before our lives took us down different paths.    I now am left only the memories.

The world seems to be a much more lonely place.

We had not seen each other for years and at our thirtieth high school reunion we talked in the hospitality suite until the sun came up.  The bonds of our friendship survived the lost years.   I  will miss him forever.

Thanks for being my friend.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss.  I am not sure that Mike ever met a stranger; in the brief time we worked together, I knew him to be an outgoing and engaging person, which certainly helped him in his work.  My thoughts and prayers are for his family.  May the LORD give you His peace through this difficult time.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about Mike's passing.  It was a real pleasure working with Mike in Lynchburg.  We had many great talks together.  Managing the PReP program can be very challenging, but having Mike as the Coordinator made it so much better.  He was a hard worker and a great guy.  During this last year in Wyoming, I have missed seeing Mike in the office each day.  Now I will miss him even more.  I am praying for you and the children, Kay.  As you already know, Mike was a really great guy.
