Dana and family the passing of someone so close is most difficult to bear, but we want you to know that we share in your grief and pain. We all need time to grieve, a quiet time for reflection, to sift through precious memories, and come to grips with what has happened. We all need a time to let the tears flow, not for the ones we lost, who are at peace in heaven, but for ourselves as we realize that things will be different now. We all need a time to just "be", when we can open ourselves to God and let the reassurance of God's everlasting love start to heal our broken hearts. God gave the gift of time and one of it's greatest uses is the healing of a broken heart. Even during your darkest nights, God has promised to hold your hand. He will be there to comfort you and He will give you strength to face this time of sorrow. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends leave footprints in your heart. "Jean Has Left Footprints in Our Heart."

Dana and Family, I was shocked to hear of you mother's passing.  To me, she was very special, always kind and caring and giving of herself to help others. Her love of my mother, Vashti, was pure and I am grateful that they were great friends to each other.  I pray that Jean has been reunited with Mama and all of those she loved who have gone before her.  I also pray that God will surround you, your family, and those she has left behind, with his love and give you strength and comfort in this time of grief.

Dana, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  Your mama was a wonderful woman and a great friend to my mama. I remember spending many times with y'all at her house.  I am sure she will be reunited in heaven with her and Ray Potter, her uncle.

I will miss our talks so much. May you rest in peace till I see you again in heaven. Love you Jean

"Danna, so sorry to hear about your mama. She and her family were very special to me. I'll always have the memories of her and her mama and daddy coming to visit my family.  My daddy was Elder AP Mewborn and mama was Loraine.  I know you new them and my sister Julia because I've seen you before when you came down for a week end with Jean.  I would call Jean every three or four weeks just to chat and we would talk about old times and church affairs.  It seemed to lift her spirits a lot.  She had moved her church membership to Autrey's Creek and we all loved her and  will miss her even though she was not able to come and visit.  I have "COPD" like she did and it is not any fun.  Again I send to you and your family my deepest sympathy and love".
