Mary Marjorie Rahl

Mary Marjorie Rahl, 90, passed away Jan. 30, 2013. She was born on April 23, 1922 in Nasons, VA to the late Dillard and Sarah Miller. Mary was a graduate of Overlook Hospital’s nursing program in Summit, NJ. She was a caring registered nurse, who took pride in her career. Mary was known for her pure heart and independent spirit. She was a truly devoted wife and loving mother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Rahl; two brothers, and six sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are five sons, Craig Rahl and wife Lindsay, Bruce Rahl, Alan Rahl and wife Melody, Dwight Rahl and wife Mei, and Gary Rahl and wife Kimberly; a sister, Freeda Faudree; ten grandchildren, Merrick, Courtney, Christopher, Stephanie, Erin, Kristen, Douglas, Heather, William, and Owen; two great-grandchildren, Tyson and Brooklyn.

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sun., Feb. 3, 2013 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, celebrated by Father Cristiano Brito. Burial will follow at a later date in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala, FL.
