Mary Rowland Jones

Mrs. Jones was born in the Portlock Section of Norfolk and was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James O. Rowland and Lucy K. Rowland, her husband Gerald L. Jones, a son Jerry Jones and a brother James Rowland and a sister Doris Costen.

Survivors include three children Kristin Byrd, (Billy), Steve Fletcher, (Janet) and Michael Fletcher, (Nanci); a sister Lucille Harris; six grandchildren, Dylan Fletcher, Taylor Jones, Erin Fletcher, Sara Fletcher, Jessica Ball and Zachary Byrd; four great grandchildren, Makayla Ball, Savannah Ball, Tristyn Byrd and Zayden Byrd.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 11:00 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
