Maria Socorro Smith

Maria Socorro Smith was born Sept 25, 1927 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Antonio Lopez Ramirez and Maria Bauza Ramirez. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Cosimano; her twin sister, Yolanda Blazen, both of New Jersey; sister, Elisa Lazore of Florida; brother, Jesus Ramirez of Puerto Rico; daughter, Jenifer Givens, and grandson, Shawn Cosimano. Surviving are her sister, Lydia LeMire of Miami; daughters, Nancy Bly and Joanna Knight, both of Chesapeake; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10am at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home 601 N. Witchduck Rd. Virginia Beach, Va 23462.
