Judy and Ernie Spainhour, neighbors of Mrs. Hillers for a number of years, send their heartfelt condolences. She was a wonderful woman and very giving.

Ann,your mom and dad were a blessing to me. I thank God for placing them in my life. So many wonderful memories, rind pickles, cookies, flowers, always pleasant times...just too many to write here but they're in my heart.
I look forward to seeing them in heaven. 
I praise the Lord for the opportunity to know such a Christ-like family.

Although our paths crossed daily and we had a brief relationship Margaret left me with a beautiful impression.  She was always positive about her situation and had good things to say.  She had the most beautiful indoor garden of African Violet that I have ever seen.  Before meeting Ms. Hillers I would always kill any African Violets that I ever came in contact with.  I was honored when I received one of her prize violets and guess what Margarets advice has paid off.  The violet is growing and is a part of my office decor now.  Margaret is missed here at FCI, but we all know that God returns for his own flowers for His garden in heaven.  May God bless and keep Mr. and Mrs. Hillers (Roger and Elaine) during this difficult time.  Jannet Hadnot

I met Margaret about 15 yrs. ago when I dropped something off at her house for the Presbyterian Women. After sitting on her couch and talking to her for a short while I knew that this was someone that I wanted to spend more time with. And, boy, did I ever! Antiquing, home and garden tours, bus trips to Bath, NC, Lancaster PA and Longwood Gardens, lunches (and did we love to go out to eat!), nurseries and much more. I will miss her companionship and friendship but I know she is where she wanted to be and should be . . . in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

 Your mom was a very giving and active lady throughout her life, and I know that she is finally at peace and is with her other family members who have passed before her.
 My mom passed away over 10 years ago from cancer, and I think about all of the love, kindness to others, support, and helpful things she did for me while she was here on earth, especially on Mother's Day that is this coming weekend. 
 She died on St. Patrick's Day which was one of her favorite holidays, and is likely hanging out with St. Patrick every March 17th in heaven !
 I think the parents we had growing up in the 1950's and 60's,made our life's educational aspirations and lives much richer for us,and our memories of the guidance and family times spent with them will sustain us until we are also with them again at some future time.
 My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and I can't believe that I have been retired as a design architect from the old LANTDIV Design Division since January 2005, as it has just flown by so quickly.
 And I have really missed my fellow co-workers there, like yourself, since retiring, as we had a feeling of meaningful accomplishment working there.
 Your mom is physically gone, but her spirit endures in Heaven, and will be with you in loving memory always.

Aunt Margaret was a strong, Christian women with an incredible green thumb.  I will always remember whenever we stopped by she always had so many beautiful African violets and fabulous pound cake.  She will be greatly missed and never replaced.
