Mrs. Rogers was the widow of Edward Earl Rogers also of Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by two sons, Ernest “Al” Rogers and wife, Peggy Ann of Rome, GA; Wesley Earl Rogers; a daughter, E. Faye Griffith both of Virginia Beach, VA; seven grandchildren, Ernie Rogers, Amy Ambrose, Jody, Michelle and Mark Rogers all of Chesapeake, VA; Jesse Griffith of Washington, D.C. and Kelly Arnold of Virginia Beach, VA; nine great grandchildren, and a sister, Edna Fricks of Rome, GA;
A celebration of Mrs. Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. She will be entombed next to her husband at Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
