Magdalene Wynne Smith, 94, passed away on June 11, 2021. She was born in Williamston, NC to the late William Merit and Mary Louise "Lula" Wynne. She was a member for 34 years at Bayside Christian Church and a current member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Magdalene was a loving, caring, and hospitable woman, the epitome of a southern woman. In her spare time she enjoyed singing in the choir, playing her piano, and golfing; she had two hole in ones in her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Roy E. Smith; and 7 siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are Ronnie Saburn, Donald Saburn (Susie), and Angela Taylor (Marty); and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 5-7:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
