Lori Ann Whitney passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 67. She was born in Nebraska and moved to Virginia Beach as a child. She was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to many who crossed her path.
She was predeceased by her parents Chan and Dorothy Whitney. She is survived by her five siblings Linda Whitney (Debbie), Deanna Gargiulo, Brian Whitney, Lisa Wooten (Allen), and Kristi Sylvester (Carmen), her daughter Krystal Johnson (Jeff), grandchildren Jeffery Lee Johnson III and Jacob Johnson, her seven nieces and nephews, Michelle Brooks (Ron), Julie Harrington, Lorin Pritchard (David), Nicholas Wooten (Bailey), Shelia Fejka, Billy Fejka, and Carmen Sylvester, great nieces and nephews, Tahlia, Kayla and Jalen Brooks and McKenna Wooten, and great great niece Kamryn.
Lori’s favorite time of year was Christmas and she loved to decorate, so on this special holiday when you see glitter sparkling and lights twinkling she will always be with us.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
