Lonnie "Joe" Muncy Jr.

Lonnie Joe Muncy, Jr., born on May 3, 1964, in Guam to Patsy (Wilmoth) and Lonnie J. Muncy Sr., passed away on September 22, 2024. Lonnie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, and had a fulfilling career in IT for the government before retiring after 40 years. He took great pride in his service, always striving for the highest standards in everything he did. As a devoted father and grandfather, Lonnie cherished his grandchildren—Aidan, Logan, Kamya, and Waylon—and loved sharing stories of their accomplishments. His passion for cooking was evident in the countless recipes he loved to share. An avid collector of knowledge, Lonnie had a knack for finding answers to any question. He lived by the principles of “If you are not 15 minutes early, you are late” and “Do the right thing even when it's hard.” Lonnie instilled these values in all who knew him. Lonnie is survived by his sister, Barbara Kartoz; his son, Alex Muncy; and his daughter, Chelsea Anderson. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
