Linda Diane Buettner Thomas

Linda Diane Thomas, 61, passed away suddenly in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015. Linda was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on July 5th, 1954 to Richard and Shirley Ann Buettner. She was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She recently retired from Lifetouch after almost 20 years of service. In her spare time she was an avid Bingo player in the Hampton Roads area.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Steve Thomas Sr.; son Stephen Thomas Jr.; son Matthew Thomas Sr. and his wife Brandee, daughter Jennifer Thomas and her fiancé Shane Hatcher; grandchildren Matthew Jr. and Blake Thomas, all of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by her parents Shirley and Richard of Chesapeake; brother Larry Buettner and his wife Frosty of Surry, brother Lonnie Buettner of Chesapeake; sister Connie Conrad and her husband Bob of Louisa, sister Lori Miltier and her husband Ronnie of Portsmouth, and sister Cathy Emrick and her husband Randy of Virginia Beach.

The family will receive friends on Friday July 31st from 6-8pm at Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach. Services will be held 10am Saturday August 1st, 2015 at Kellum Funeral Home, burial to follow at the Rosewood Memorial Park.
