Mr. Keech was born in a logging camp in the Dismal Swamp of North Carolina and served during World War II as a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Ford Plant after thirty-eight years of service and was known as a hard working dedicated family man. He was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1956.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-five years, Doris U. Keech, three children Robert, Gloria and husband Harley, Dreama and husband Rodney; five grandchildren, Michelle and husband Pete, Ray and wife Mandi, Trish, Dave and Paul, thirteen great grandchildren and best friends Butch and Victor. Lacy was the true Patriarch of The Keech Tribe. We Love You More!
A celebration of Mr. Keech's life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, 2:00p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 681 Oak Grove Road, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
