Kim Howard Parks, 78, passed away on December 26, 2024. he was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Raymond Henry and Mildred May Parks. He served his country in the US Navy for 10 years working as a Sonar Technician. He became a Computer Technician working in California, Michigan and Virginia for a total of 18 years. He was also a Technical Advisor to the Navy. In his spare time he enjoyed water skiing, fishing, snorkeling in Key West, and gardening. He was a billiards champion, winning a trip to Las Vegas to compete in a tournament. In his younger years, he played football and basketball.
Kim was predeceased by his son, Kim Howard Parks, II; sisters, Kathy Lehaney and Debbie Johnston; sister-in-law, Julie Johnson; and brother-in-law David Ziems.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Lynn Ellen Parks; son, Kevin Parks; sister, Pam Miller; sister-in-law, Lora Pfeifer; brother-in-law, Clifton Ziems; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
