Junior Ray Barker

Junior Ray Barker, 57, passed away February 12, 2023. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Orna and Zeffie Barker, the youngest of 13 children. Junior was self employed in the stucco trade all of his adult life. In his spare time he enjoyed watching sports, loved the Redskins and Nascar and especially loved hanging out with his granddaughters. Junior will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Heidi Barker; son Easley Barker and his wife Breanna; four granddaughters, Lillianna, Kensley, Penelope and Scarlett; and two sisters, Mary Jane and Peggy as well as many nieces and nephews. Junior was predeceased by 10 siblings.

The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm.
