Judy Faye Russell, 75, passed away at her home in Norfolk. Judy was born in Norfolk to the late Hayes and Evie Russell. She is also predeceased by her sister, Wilma Fodrie. Judy worked with both E.K. Wilson and Johns Brothers as a secretary clerk with both companies. She was devoted to God and her church family at New Heights Fellowship in Norfolk. She is survived by her brothers, Max Russell (Carol), Rex Russell (Nancy Buckley), Robert Russell (Nancy); nephews and nieces, Lou Ann Barrow (Jeff), Mark Fodrie (Carol), Andy Russell (Kathy), John Russell (Sue), David Fodrie (Janet), Paul Russell (Kara), Jeff Russell (Amber) and Christine Russell.
A visitation will be from 4-6pm, Sunday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home Kempsville, 4889 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A funeral service will be conducted, 11am, Monday at New Heights Fellowship Church, 1251 Kempsville Rd., Norfolk, VA 23502. Immediately following the service the burial will be conducted at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the church family members, Ruby, Grace, Nancy and Mary for their devotion, as well as staff members at Sentara Hospice Care for the love they showed Judy the past few weeks, Tina, Laurie, Jysel, Alberta, Tammy “Tameika”, Christina and Asha.
