James E. Jones, 89, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015.
Mr. Jones was born in Green County, NC and resided most of his life in Virginia Beach. He retired as a Real Estate Agent and was a member of Virginia Beach Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Norwood Jones.
Survivors include his loving wife Edna Mae Jones, four children, Patricia Brewer and husband Frank, James Jones, Jr., Connie Croom and husband Joe and Ricky Jones; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; a brother Earl Jones and wife Margaret and sister-in-law Rose Jones, wife of Donald.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 16, 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or The Alzheimer’s Association.
