Thinking about our visits to the Jessup family, I decided to google and found this news. I’m so sorry to hear of Uncle Jim’s passing. He welcomed our family and I remain grateful for that! Thank you Uncle Jim for loving Auntie Erica!

Dadio,
It seems like time flys past "us", but the greatest memories of my life will always remain of me spending my summers as a child with you , Mamita, Uncle Pat, and family. I will never forget you picking me up in your uniform! I remember look out the window each morning watching you work around the yard while Mamita managed the cooking and nurturing. I loved watching the love and kindness you both had for one another. You were always my "Hero" and now you have earned your angel wings to be my guardian angel! I will always carry your legacy as your granddaughter.

I have nothing but good memories of my grandfather. He was such a good man. I was able to spend a little time with him and Mamita a couple years ago and the dynamic of their relationship was something to behold in person. Those two together, made for a lot of laughs! I had so much fun spending time with them, making memories which I will cherish forever. I will miss you very much Daddio. May you rest in peace.

Jim was one of the finest men that I ever knew. He was considerate, hard-working, and loved his family. We were stationed together in Roosevelt Roads, PR, and met again in Norfolk, VA. Jim was never idle; he could be found building a structure or planting a garden. He was kind and very generous and  would always lend a helping hand when needed. Our sincere condolences to Erica, Patrick, Eric and family.

I love you; I will miss you; I enjoyed the time we had together on this earth.
