James W. Hudgins Sr, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on May 23, 2021. He was born on September 21, 1933 to the late Mamie Smith and George Washington Hudgins in Virginia.

James was an Auto Parts Salesman for 58 years for Ingram's Auto Parts. He also served in the US Army and Reserves. He was the last survivor of 9 children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Charlotte Hudgins, his children, James Hudgins Jr, David Hughes, Beth Hughes, and Mark Hughes. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren. He was a beloved husband. father and grandfather.

A visitation will he on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2 pm at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer your condolences at www.kellumfuenralhome.com
