Mr. Anderson was born in Waco, Texas and resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia since 1962. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean Conflict. He retired as an electronics technician with Civil Service.
Survivors include his companion Carolyn Hamilton, three children Vicki Anderson Splinter (Steve), Douglas Anderson and Tracy Anderson (Josue); six grandchildren Dr. Katie Moyer (Lauren), Charles Moyer, III, (Ashley), Zachary Splinter, Jamie Anderson, Sarah Splinter and Jacob Anderson and one great grandchild, Oliver Charles Moyer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
