Jack Edward Maute

Jack E. Maute, age 102, went home to be with the Lord December 16, 2024.

Jack was a loving husband, and a wonderful father to two sons. He was also a grandfather and great grandfather (lovingly called "Bebop"), and a friend to many. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility as a planner and estimator, and was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church.

He was married to the beautiful Ruby M. Maute for 70 years and has now been reunited with her in Heaven. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons James Maute (Karen) and Donald Maute (Bettie), grandchildren Emily Maute and Justin Maute (Chelsea), and great grandchildren Lottie, Alden, and Etta Maute.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m with visitation at 9:00 a.m., Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd, Va Beach, Va 23462. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial contribution be made to the Resident Activities Fund at Commonwealth Senior Living at Leigh Hall, 890 Poplar Hall Dr. Norfolk, VA 23502.
