Henry G. Linkus, 90, passed Saturday, July 14. He was born on November 26, 1927 in East Vandergrift, PA. He is predeceased by his first and second wives, Dorothy Linkus and Constance Rich.
Henry began barbering at 16, joined the Navy at 17, and was stationed at Camp Perry, serving as a Navy See Bee during WWII. He continued as a professional barber for 59 years in Tidewater. Henry was a kind, gentle and generous person, who was dearly loved by his family and all those who knew him.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Elana Jackson, Justin and Jonathan Epstein; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and James Jackson, Clara and Joey Mejstrik and daughter Dawn Obliskey.
A graveside service will be on Tuesday, July 17 at 12 noon at Rosewood Memorial Park.
