Helen E. Strickland

Helen E. Strickland entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was born on December 2, 1929 in Goldsboro, NC. At the young age of 5, she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of her life. For the rest of her years, she faithfully, joyfully, and proudly served the Lord and shared His love with all whom she met. She married Raymond W. Strickland, Sr. in 1947 and together they had one beloved son, Raymond W. Strickland, Jr. She took utmost pride and found great pleasure in caring for and serving her family. Helen never met a stranger, loved to share Jesus with everyone she met, and could strike up a conversation with anyone, anytime. Her smile, her spunk for life, and her sense of style will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her son, Ray (Mary); grandson David (Tammie) and granddaughter Ashley-Rae.
