Gloria R. Myers, 87, passed away on October 31, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1930 to the late Rose C. and Mahlon Coleman in Freeburn, Kentucky. Gloria is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Robert R. Myers, Jr.
She is survived by her children Judith Carol Jenkins, Robert Roy Myers III, Beverly Irene McNally and Roni Sue Myers Chudoba; 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
Gloria was a active member of Kempsville Christian Church, an avid bowler, gardener and cook. She graduated from college at the age of 84. Gloria will always be remembered for her many words of wisdom, her positive outlook, her sweet spirit and her huge and loving heart. So many lives have been touched and changed by her love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Kempsville Christian Church, 5424 Parliament Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A private burial will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kempsville Christian Church.
