Fred Ercel Crawford Jr.

Fred E. Crawford, Jr., 83, was born in Olive Hill, KY and died May 12, 2013. He was a member of Olive Hill Masonic Lodge #629 Olive Hill, KY; member and past master, 1989, of Willis V. Fentress #296 VA Beach, VA; honorary member of Norview Lodge #113 and Charles T. Morton Lodge #232; Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies 32°; Khedive Shriners, Chesapeake, VA; El Hasa Shriners, Ashland, KY; Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels; and commissioned an Admiral in the Great Fleet of the Commonwealth of KY. He retired from the US Navy as CPO in 1968 and from Sears Service Center in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Bruce and Brian; daughter-in-law, Cathy; grandsons, Nathan and Scott; granddaughter, Heather; and great-grandson, Elijah. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
