Frank Vanott Gordon, Jr.

Frank V. Gordon Jr, 85, passed away January 12, 2023. He was born in Norfolk, VA on Jan. 24, 1937 to the late Frank V. Gordon, Sr. and Edna Gordon. Proceeded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Elizabeth Gordon. Ford Plant employee for 32 years. He enjoyed bowling tremendously and fishing. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend; who loved to spend time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Karen Jenkins and her husband Ronnie and Deborah Gordon; grandchildren, Justin Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins; brothers, Tommy Gordon, and his wife Beverly; sister, Katie Eichelberger, and her husband Bill; numerous nieces and nephews; and many who were lucky enough to call him papa. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 6-8:00 PM, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
