Dearest Betty and family:

I first met Frank in 1984; he had knee surgery and I had cancer surgery and literally died during surgery.  I had known Betty through the school system and VBAEOP.  I was feeling pretty low when here enters this handsome man with a walker and these piercing blue eyes...He said, "I am Frank Barrett, Betty's husband, and I want to see how you are doing." I will never forget his complete genuine compassion and friendly disposition, smile, and again those piercing blue eyes.  Many years later, I would go on many Fun Tours with Betty and Frank.  I have a lot of memories and we have lost a truly wonderful man.  Frank is gone...but he will NEVER be forgotten.  

Our thoughts, prayers, love, and support are extended to Betty and the family during this difficult time.  Frank is now at peace with the Lord.

Dear Betty, I think the first time I met you and Frank was soon after you were married. From that moment on, if mom & dad said Frank & Betty were coming over, I would be so happy.  You were both so much fun but Frank was always able to get my somewhat 'reserved' dad to actually laugh out loud. I worked many years with Frank when he was at Parks and Recreation. He was a great Supervisor and friend to all who worked with him. He understood the younger generation and was able to use his lifelong aquired skills to get the most out of us, he will be missed dearly.

Liittle did I know that in 1996 when my family moved next door to Tim and Chase that it would end up being such a memorable time. Memories of the beach and just hanging out. One thing uniquely special about it was that Frank and Betty were always there, supporting Chase at surf competitions or just there to share the day. RIP Frank you will be missed.
