Norfolk - Emma Lee Ralph, 86, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015. She was born in Homer, GA on June 5, 1929. She was predeceased by her parents, Johnson and Pearl Ray of Banks County; five brothers; and three sisters.
Emma was a member of American Legion Aux. post 327, Veterans of Foreign Wars Aux. post 3160, Fleet Reserve Aux. Club 60, and Democratic Social Club of Ocean View.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Joseph R. Ralph; children, Donald, Dian, Mark, and Angel; step-children, Sherry, Robert, and Eddie; her twin sister, Wortie Lee Pittenger of Norfolk, VA; and sister, Peggy Coffey and her husband Larry of Lincolnton, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, VA. After the visitation the funeral service will start at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
