Emily Salvo Manby

Emily Salvo Manby, 90, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. Emily was born January 20, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents Karl Eugene Salvo Sr., and Anna Wieters Salvo and her husband Earl E. Manby, Jr., her sisters Kathrine Elsa Salvo and Beverly Salvo Condon and a brother Karl Eugene Salvo.

Mrs. Manby retired as a nursing supervisor from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters after more than forty years of service. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She was known as Gigi by her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include two children, Sandra M. Wolford and husband Patrick Tolbert, Brenda Jean Loeback; three grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, and Ashley; four great grandchildren Avery, Josie, Richie, and Quinn.

A graveside service will be held at Princess Anne Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:00a.m.
