It’s with broken hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful mother/Grandmother/Great-grandmother, Grace "GG" Roberson. There are no words to describe the pain of losing her, but we find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched with her warmth, kindness, and joy.
GG was an ACC basketball superfan and never missed a game. If she wasn’t home to watch, she’d record it to make sure she didn’t miss a single play. She also had a love for the simple pleasures: champagne with strawberries, spending quality time with long-time friends, and going on those unforgettable road trips to Atlantic City.
Christmas with GG was always magical—whether it was decorating the tree, seeing holiday lights with family, or just enjoying the season with those she loved. She had a soft spot for Hallmark movies and had a knack for making everyone feel special with cards for every holiday and celebration.
Growing up, I remember her always being there for me—driving me and my friends around in junior high, never missing a high school event, and being my biggest cheerleader. GG also loved the mountains—she was always up for visiting wineries and breweries or just enjoying a good time in the backyard by the lake, surrounded by family and friends. She was the most incredible mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
We will miss her more than words can say, but we will carry her spirit with us in every game we watch, every glass of champagne we raise, and every card we send. Rest in peace, Mom. You were truly one of a kind. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered support, and kept us in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us. A service will be held at a later date.
