E. Bryan Sexton, 67, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2010. He was born in Norfolk on December 5, 1942 the son of the late Edward G. and Margaret D. Sexton. Bryan served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict. He loved working in his yard and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk. Bryan was a devoted husband, father and brother and cared about his family deeply.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 44 years, Sandy G. Sexton; daughters, Jody Sexton of Wakefield, MA and Jennifer Kinchlow and husband Sean of Orlando, FL and brother Kennith G. Sexton and wife Kathy of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 20 at 10:00 AM in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk by the Rev. Ben Kinchlow. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Asssociation of Virginia, 5349 Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
