Virginia Beach – Dorothy M. Merritt, 96, passed away on January 23, 2024. Born on April 8, 1927 to the late Moses and Lillian Chamblee. She was the loving wife of the late Robert C. Merritt. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Vaughan and Fay Rountree. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Terry, Tommy and Derek; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and her brother, Larry Chamblee.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Rosewood Memorial Park.
