Dink was born in Alabama, but grew up in Tallapoosa, GA. She worked for AT&T, Southern Bell, The Department of the Navy and was the Pastor’s Secretary at Cooper River Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC.
The family will receive friends and family from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa, GA, Saturday, June 3, at 11a.m. with Miller Funeral Home providing services.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Kempsville Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, VA where Mrs. Thompson was a member or Cooper River Baptist Church in Mrs. Thompson’s memory.
