Cindy Sue Thibodeau

Cindy S. Thibodeau (61) passed away on March 17, 2021. She was born August 12, 1959 to LCDR Jack Helsley of the USN and Joan Helsley (heart of the family). Though she spent her early years moving from city to city Virginia Beach was her home. It is here she raised her family. She was a Property Manager for F&W Mgmt. for many years before becoming an Administrative Assistant of Compliance for Burlington Capital until the day of her passing. While she was amazing at her job, her true passion was her family. Her “Boys” were her world, as their MeeMaw was theirs. She would do ANYTHNG for them, and could not have been more proud of them. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Nichole Thibodeau; two grandsons, Adrian (AJ) and Jeremiah; three sisters, Cathy Barbee (Gene), Susan Kasmauski, and Sheri Chirco; sister-in-law, Bobbie Helsley; brother-in-law, Garry Robinson; two aunts and one uncle, countless nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joan Helsley; her brother, Steven Helsley; her sister, Vicky Robinson and brother-in-law, Steven Chirco. The family will receive friends at 1pm on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, Virginia Beach with a celebration of life service to follow at 2pm.
