Chris Ramsey

Lemuel C. Chris Ramsey, 64, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2018. He was born to the late James and Beulah Ramsey in VA Beach. He was a retired Master Firefighter for VA Beach Fire Department after 29 years of faithful service. He was also an active member of Back Bay Christian Assembly. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Benjamin C. and Lily R. Ramsey; his siblings, James M. Ramsey, Jr. (Janet), Deborah R. O'Briant (Lee Jay), and Daniel L. Ramsey (Kathy); as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Chris is predeceased by his sister, Bonnie R. Smith. The family will receive loved ones from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Celebration of his life will be held at 10am on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Back Bay Christian Assembly Food Bank.
