Chester L. Witham, Jr., 79, passed away in Chesapeake, VA on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Chester was born in Connecticut to the late Chester and Helen Witham. He is cherished in memory by his wife, Linda Witham; children, Deborah Ross and husband, Walter “Ray”, Chester Witham, III, Mary Gagnon and husband, Gerald and Bryan and wife, Jane; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Chester was a member with the “Just Seniors” of St. Nicholas Church, Virginia Beach, VFW Post 392 as well as the Moose Lodge, 1198 VB. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting coins, fishing and cooking.
A funeral mass will begin at 11am, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 712 Little Neck Rd #5807, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. There will be a reception to follow the services. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
