Cheri was born December 31st, 1959 to Charles and Betty Kiper. She attended Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, and worked for many years at Dollar Tree, Inc. as a manager of retirement services.
Cheri loved gardening, country music, crocheting gifts for family and friends, was an avid dog lover and loved her University of Kentucky Wildcats.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Charlie and Liz Kiper, several uncles, aunts and cousins, and many lifelong friends, all who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Kiper, and her grandmother, Louise Lowe.
A funeral will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 11:30 a.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Friday, May 22nd, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at Christ Presbyterian Church, 709 Aragona Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifeNet Health or the American Lung Association in Cheri’s honor.
