Charles Richard Robertson

Charles “Robbie” Richard Robertson, 80, passed away in Virginia Beach on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. Born on July 23, 1934 in Irwin, PA to the late Charles W. and Mary Robertson, he was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Robertson; sisters, Mae Dias and Hope Cook. Robbie retired from the Marine Corps and from the Virginia International Terminal. A longtime member of Virginia Beach, he was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW and he attended St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, Michael Robertson, Mark Robertson and his wife, Dawn; sisters, Jean Yost of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Pat Guyette and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Alex Robertson and Raymond Juray, III and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A service will be conducted at 10:00 am, Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk with military honors to be rendered Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at 10:00 am.
